By end of year 92, X100 products would be replaced by X200 products

 According to Khabar Khodro, the CEO of Saipa has announced plans for reduction in producing X100 products and increasing production of X200 family in coming 3 years.

Saied Madani, the CEO of Saipa said, "Despite efforts for improving quality of Saipa products in recent years and acceptable success people are somehow tired of X100 products because of their long time existence in market."

He added, "According to the issue and based on the determined strategy in Saipa for developing quantity of products and achieving acceptable local market share, we are decided to increase production of X100 family and replace them with X200 family (Tiba family) by the end of year 95 and eventually."

He admitted, "However, X100 products have acceptable export markets because of their benefits, which include competitive price, wide services, low fuel consumption and etc. and they would not be stopped until such markets are available." 

He told, "Considering high production capacity of X100 products and the demand in market it is not possible to reduce their production at once and with increasing X200 family they would be replaced eventually."

He remarked, "Based on determined plan, Tiba and Tiba 2 vehicles are now produced and launched to market and new Saina vehicle would also be produced on Tiba platform and launched before end of this year. So, in this way, with production increase these vehicles would replace X100 products."

He reiterated, "Price of X200 products of Saipa would be between 24 and 30 million toman."
